Every year our Church contributes to support the Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child”. This effort collects toys, toiletries, clothes, school supplies etc. to place in a shoebox and provide as a Christmas gift to needy children around the world.
In April 2011, Coralie Dodge, a member of our Corps, visited Costa Rica to deliver the boxes, and a detailed article about her visit is found in the September 2011 issue of The Signal, our quarterly newsletter. In the spring of 2013 she visited Uruguay on a life changing mission to deliver shoe boxes. She gave an great presentation regarding this trip which can be watched above.
Coralie Dodge, Coordinator for the distribution and collection of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, would like
to remind you that on October 5th, 2014 Christmas shoe boxes will be made available to you.
You can begin now to watch for bargains and start collecting suitable items. Boxes will be collected on Sunday, November 9th in the AM service. Your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated. Let’s break the record again this year. If you have any questions, call Coralie at 727-1709.
